Anyone going away for the October half term?

If so, where are you off too? somewhere nice and hot or a weekend away in a UK destination?

The reason iaskis that is seems much quieter this October for families going away.

I looked at flights to return to the UK to visit my family (as i live in Tenerife) and the prices are so so expensive so i cant get back until around the 5th of November :(

It's our first half term so I booked me and DH off work. Wanted to go to see my friend in Abu Dhabi but procrastinated too much and flights got too expensive. So off down your way, Tenerife! Hoping for some sun with my boys

It has been really lovely here so im sure you will be pleased!! ;)

Las Americas Colon II apartments, not done self catering with the children so just been stocking up on snacks! And got a portable DVD player at the weekend!

Oh fab, im pretty sure i know where those apartments are.
If i am right, you are in the middle of a touristy area with loads of places to eat, drink, also has nice beaches and nice shops to look around.

If you need any babysitting or daytimes just let me know ;)

We are off to the Cotswolds for the week in our motorhome. Taking my mother with us this time too, not sure if that is a good idea or not.(smile)

Nope, finances still in the red from summer hols & forking out for after-school activities at start of term.

Plus no cheap flights available (might have gone to visit gps otherwise...)

Will have a couple of days out in London though.
