We are now thinking about a week in Cyprus in the next couple of weeks as the weather should be good. can anyone recommend any good hotel in Paphos that is close to the beach & amenities please with a 4 year old thankyou :)

Hi - I stayed at Almyra (see here) when my ds's were 6 & 4. It is right on the beach at Paphos and they have a lovely kids club and pool. Amazing breakfasts! Luckily, even though it was very smart, they are so child-friendly that there were no disapproving looks when my lot went wild. Instead, other parents just smiled sympathetically and exchanged "kids eh?" looks. Since I went I've heard that they have a new spa. I booked through Tots Too who told me to go half board. I didn't take their advice as we like to try lots of different restaurants, but I wish I had as we didn't much like the Paphos local restaurants and the ones in the hotel were lovely.
