Help for Hol next year

Hi All,

I am looking for a holiday around June time next year for myself and DH and 3 DC's 4,2 and 1.

Am hoping someone can recommend a villa in either South of France or Italy for us that isn't extortionate.

Or alternatively, nice hotels that you have maybe done with your dc's that were able to cope with a room for 5. We'd want 4 star minimum though, preferably 5.

Drawing a bit of a blank on the net unless I want to pay iro £3k for the villa alone for a week.

Thanks

I'm struggling! What the hell do people do if they have 3 young children! Stumped.

Does it need to be a villa or coudl you consider an apartment?

Some of the hotel chains can cater quite well for kids. What areas are you keenest one?

WannabeNigella · 05/10/2010 21:10

I can't find a hotel that will allow us all in the same room and as our eldest is only 4 adjoining rooms are no good.

Looking at Tuscany or South of France ideally.

Thanks

Apartment fine. Can only find 3 star though.

It must be possible. Double bed plus sofa bed and a travel cot? What about hotels that have like a mezzanine level bit of the room for kids?

You might have to come down in expectations for a villa?

It's a good idea to just phone the hotels and ask what they can do for you

Have you considered the alps? There are loads of hotels in Austria & Sud Tirol (Italy) that has great family suites way under your budget. They include half board and childcare.

...have...(not has!)
