Help me with an internal flight in Spain, please!

Hi. I am trying to find a single flight from Barcelona to Alicante on 9th October at about 8pm. I can't find anything on the internet, but surely there must be? I have also tried ringing Barcelona airport, but the number is constantly engaged. Any ideas?

There may not be any flights as it is not that far a distance and isn't holiday season. The train between the 2 cities is fast and comfortable have you considered that? Search for RENFE, they have and english site too.

Thank you - have worked my way through all the links! I am charged by a friend to find a flight from Barcelona at about 8pm, and I think I can now say that there really aren't any! She doesn't want to take the train because it would arrive at about midnight and she is afraid of being in a strange station at that time, alone and trying to find her way to a hotel in a country where she doesn't speak the language. So glad that it is not me - I would be far more afraid of the flight!
