I've decided one of these 2 will be our summer holiday 2011 destination.

But would love a personal recommendation please - need to sleep 4, with a pool.

Anyone been?
Thanks

The website is here. We stayed just outside la Noue which was lovely for us. The beaches aren't pebbly as such but when the tide goes out some of them are rocky. The seaside resort with the sandy beach is called le bois plage there are lots of properties available there.

Thanks for that Andiem

We also used "wakeupinfrance". We had a lovely villa In st Clement Des baleines at the northern tip of ile de re. Fabulous holiday, but not cheap. The beach was sandy - sea was pretty cold though!
