CARES flight harness

Anyone used one of these...?

I have got one and it looks great but I think DS (2.4) would probably be more comfortable in his car seat.

DH is not so keen as it will be him having to lug the carseat around the airport.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has used the harness on the place and how it went? Did the cabin crew let you put it round the back of the seat? We have someimtes had issues with taking our car seat on board when cabin crew say "you cant use that" etc!

Yes, Yes, and Yes. We've used it and it is great. No problems but we had to mention to the woman behind us what we were doing as she threw me a filthy stare when I tried to attach it and it sat over her screen.

Way easier than taking a car seat which I would never do!

No isssues with cabin crewe.

Hi tefal so does it obscure the person behind's screen then?

No, I just positioned it wrong. It should sit under their screen.

We always board last but if one of you wants to go first to set it up then do that. If you are using it for the first time, don't get flustered, just take a bit of extra time to get it positioned properly.

Good idea I'll go on ahead :-))

I wish I had! That woman's stare would turn someone to stone!

Thanks for this thread I was just looking at these. The cheapest place I have found to buy in the UK is here. Anyone know if £60 is a reasonable price?
