Greece in Oct?

I need a Greece expert..
I am after a hotel with a decent size saltwater indoor pool (ie not just a whirpool), anyone been & found something like that, I suppose it would be a spa-type place?
Also, is sea in Greece/islands going to be too cold for a dip? Are the outdoor pools warm enough if not heated?

One of the loveliest holiday I had was in Greece (Kreta) in October (years ago). I remember it was warm and nice, and we were in a marvelous place called Elafonissi. Can't offer any advice about hotel, but the sea was warm

I can't help with any advice about a hotel but I know the sea will be lovely and warm, it has had the whole summer to warm up and is gorgous that time of year, the pools may be a bit cold though if you are going at the end of october.

Blue Palace (see here) is perfect, seawater pool and indoor pool for best of both worlds. Sea would be lovely through till October and outdoor pools the same, but indoor ones are heated anyway.

Notserp, Blue Palace looks quite perfect, a tad expensive though, unless it includes any of the spa treatemnts or entries? Or do you think that would be extra??

Where are you looking to stay in Greece - any preference for mainland or islands?

Crete would prob be the best for sea swimming in October but there are a lot of indoor saltwater pools available on other islands!

Dunno if you've been before but if you are able to spend some time in Athens then do - fantastic city :)

Just come back from Crete and the sea and outdoor pools were lovely and warm. We stayed on the north coast. Wish we were still there
