Weather in Lanzarote in October /November

Did not manage to get away this summer so thinking of going away in October/ November. What would the weather be like in Lanzarote at this time of year? Do not want it baking hot for health reasons but would like it warm and sunny. Also would there still be lots open so things to do and places to eat?

Lanzarote is an all year round destination so everything is open all year round , we go to playa blanca and have been going for 6 years and go 3/4 times a year Oct/Nov will be between 22/24 degrees really nice and warm but never to hot as there is a lovely breeze (not wind) we always go for new year and its great , if you would like any more info please ask

we are going to playa blanca in feb. debating whether to use taxis or hire car (its suppossed to be a cheap holiday). the only trip we really want to do is see the mountains/volcanoes - whats the best way to get there? Could we hire a car for the day, or does anyone organise trips? if we hire a car which are the best companies to use? thankyou

It depends what day you are flying if its thursday there are normally huge ques for taxis !!Other days not too bad, if you want to hire a car we use cabrera medina (i think thats how its spelt) they have a website and you can book it online without paying anything until you arrive, It is cheap to hire a car for one day ,we did this for our transfer in august because we didnt want to hang around at the airport and it was cheaper than a taxi , it was aroung 40 euros for a vauxhall zafira . we have 2 children and always seem to take to much luggage !you can pick up at the airport and drop of in playa blanca they have 2/3 offices there. there are lots of trips to see the main volcano but i never fancies being stuck on a coach at least with a car you have your own freedom. The north of the island is very green and worth a look.
