My dds' (aged 3 and 6) school has its half term first week of November this year so out of synch with most other schools in England (I think).
I've got the week off work and was thinking of taking them away somehwere since it won't be high season as most schools won't be off. Our week away in summer was ruined because dd1 ended up in hospital 
so would really like to do something nice with them.
Anyone got any suggestions? My only constraints are budget (can stretch to a few hundred pounds, absolute max £400-500 for everything but prefer less) and I'll be on my own because dh is working.
