Baby's first holiday - but where should we go?

We'd like to go abroad for the last week in October. DS will be 7 months old. We want to go somewhere warm (but not too hot), cheap and baby friendly, obviously.

Can anyone recommend where we could go? And anywhere we should avoid?

You realise that is half term so could be busy ? Spain might be warm enough - we're off to Majorca then.

Menorca was great when my little one was 8 months old. Really baby-oriented, sandy beaches and warm enough without being torrid

Jersey and Guernsey are nice - we took ours there when they were little.

Hark at me - they're only 2 and 4 now!!

Southern Spain? Nerja is a nice seaside resort, all facilities, but not over-developed. Or the Algarve? (Burgau, for a small villagey seaside resort, or Tavira for an authentic portugese small town, but with access to intresting coast via a great rail link that runs along the algrave coast?)

LIZS - didn't realise it was half term, that might make it too expensive for us

Jersey is lovely in October.

And not too expensive either.

Seems it is the flights which are pricey (ours were over £250 each) - if you can fly out on the Friday for example you may find it cheaper.

We went to a family friendly b&b in south of France about 1hour from Toulouse. Fab for kids and adults. It is called Okalani, we found on the web. loads to do all around the area and the food is great!
