is the dinosaur safari good at blackpool zoo?

we went the other day but it was just me and three kids so just did the zoo (stick with what you know and all that). but just wondered how good this was and if you could spend a whole day there like you can with the zoo or if you would finish in an hour and have to pay to go in the zoo aswell. i seem to remember it being cheaper aswell or am i wrong there?

I know a few families who have been to the dinasour safari and they have all said it was fantsastic. It was also listed in one of the Sunday papers a few weeks back as a top attraction for children. We are yet to take dd as I am not a big fan of the zoo so can't give you personal recommendations but we have been tempted by what we heard.
