Suggestion re hotels in Edinburgh

Hello,
We're off to Edinburgh, our first trip with the bubba and if anyone has any advice re a nice child friendly hotel I'd be grateful.

Should I take my own travel cot or do some hotels provide cots?

Looking at about £100 a night tops for us two and bubba, less would be better.

You can sometimes get a good deal on the Malmaison - it isnt in the city centre, its in Leith, which is lovely and sometimes nicer than the hustle and bustle - has some lovely shops/restuarants too
