Where will be hot in October half term?

We fancy some sun in October half term - as only for a week don't want to fly too far. Where will still be hot? Any ideas?

Have you been Trace - what's it limke for kids - DD is 5

Have considered Sharm el Sheikh but don't know if t's irresponsible to take a 5 year old there in view of recent bombs - what do you all think?

tenerife was hot in oct but go to los christianos not playa.

How hot ? We're going to Majorca at half term (assuming our hotel booking has gone through ok) and went mid Oct last year. It was warm enough to swim and wear t-shirts and shorts, but a bit windy at times.

We went to Kos with Mark Warner last October and the weather was fantastic.

we went to tsilivi in zante which is family oriented, even the pubs have kiddy slides and things
