10 month old around the pool

Hi Guys im looking for some advice. We are taking our 10 month old on hol in two weeks to spain and are wondering how we can keep her comfortable and safe around the pool. I think it will be concrete and our daughter is crawling off everywhere and it is a bit of a headache wondering what we can take with us to help us have a relaxing time. When we took our now 3 year old on holiday when she was the same age we could only sit by the pool for 10 mins at a time due to her crawling and slipping. I was thinking of maybe getting some plastic mats or something like that for her to sit on. or if anyone can recommend anything useful so we can all enjoy ourselves. we will be going to the beach as well so that will be ok, but we still want to spend time around the pool. Any suggestions would be really helpful. thank you.

How about one of those pop-up paddling pools to keep her (semi) contained?

this kind of thing?

thank you. Yes that looks really good. i think im going to get one off those. eventually i think she will crawl out of it but she loves her bath, so if we put a bit of water in i think she will be entertained for a while. very useful.

Just put towels on the tiles. They will get wet but your DD will be able to crawl without slipping. Plastic mat can be even more slippery than concrete when wet (except maybe some yoga mat).
When we were training for dive jump we always did that.
Also, don't forget to put her armbands when you are relaxing around the pool. It takes toddlers less of a second to fall in it, and most of the time in silence. At least with armbands, you'll have more reaction time.

tbh I wouldn't bank on much time lazing around by the pool with a 10 month old...worst time for trying to get a 'relaxing' family holiday imo! beach not much better either (remembers sand in nappy, eating sand, etc etc). You'll also need to take care with the 3 year old I would think!
Never mind, it will get better....I guess you might need to take it in turns to be on duty with the kids...

You could also get her on of those baby float seats so she can be in the pool with you, my girls used to love theirs when they were babies.

You certainly wont get any relaxing time yourslef as you wont be able to take your eyes of either of them the whole time but you will still have lots fo fun.
