I have criteria but am baffled by choice. Tell me where you recommend

I''m thinking a cheapish sunny holiday in the half term at early June next year.

I want to fly from Bristol, and spend 7 days somewhere self catering, but not a villa. Probably apartments (some vague chance that DS might find some other children to play with). We want to be able to go out somewhere interesting for the day (I like a bit of sightseeing) then sit around the pool for an hour or two. Eat out ideally. DH wants to go somewhere with a water park, and where it will be warm enough to enjoy one in early June. I'd like to be quite near to a small village resort, not in the middle of nowhere.

Easyjet flies from bristol to the following. So, where would you recommend?

Alicante
Barcelona
Bodrum
Corfu
Corsica
Crete
Dalaman
Ibiza
La Rochelle
Majorca
Malaga
Menorca
Milan
Tenerife
Valencia

And I'm really hoping someone will say "the blah de blah apartments in xyz resort matches your criteria perfectly!" Grin

Crete or Turkey would be hotter with more reliable weather for the May/June half term.

Corfu is gorgeous but I went in june a few years ago and it rained for 5 days out of 7 Shock

Cala n bosch in Menorca is gorgeous (we got back this morning Sad) but the weather is unpredictable early and late season.

Personally I would go for turkey or crete.

Corsica is my favourite place on that list and the weather should be lovely early June.

Fab food, beaches, mountains, lots of character.
We've spent time in the south west (Porto Vechhio), the north (Cap Corse) and the North East (Calvi) and loved all areas.
Only problem is accommodation and food can be expensive.

Have never found a waterpark though although we did find a "babypark adventure", one of these swinging through the trees things which DS loved.
