I'm going for a weekend in early October and I know they have a v. smart dress code.

Men have to wear a jacket and tie so I guess dresses for the evening are standard ladies wear. I'm just stumped about the daywear, round the pool, breakfast etc.

Can anyone give me some pointers.

I've not stayed there, but I've eaten in the Veranda (jacket for men, but none of the men in my party DH and italian BIL wore a tie and no eyebrows were raised - maybe it's changed since I went) and in the Grill (smart casual I'd say) Maybe your DH should take a tie just in case.

I've had drinks there during the day, but can't remember what I wore (probably normal day italian garb - dress or skirt for me and chino (ish) trews for DH and short sleeved shirt.

I'm terribly jealous as I'd love to stay there, but having family close by, I'm not allowed!!!
