Looking to go 3rd week in Oct. Hotel has an unheated pool, will it be too cold to swim?

Depends on whether or not you like cold water.

VivaLeBeaver · 02/09/2010 14:10

No I don't! I want to be able sunbath and go in the pool without freezing my tits off. Grin

Find a hotel with a heated pool then..

VivaLeBeaver · 02/09/2010 14:45

OK, thanks. We really want this hotel, it does have one heated pool but the kids pool with all the slides is unheated and I really want to sunbath while DD swims all day. Smile

Maybe I could pack her a wetsuit. Grin Think we'll look at going next June instead.

I know lots of people who have swanned off on hols without checking the pool and spent a fortnight blue and shivering.

We went to Egypt at Easter once. Pool was freezing, but sea was ok.

VivaLeBeaver · 02/09/2010 15:01

We went to Tenerife in Nov last year, wasn't for a sunbathing/swimming holiday so didn't matter too much but there was an unheated pool at the apartments that was too cold to go in. We did have an unusually non-sunny week though.

Would rather pay £1500 next June then than £1100 in Oct. Be worth the extra money for not beingn cold.
