Anyone been on a good Santa trip? I've seen the bad reviews for Canterbury travel and was hoping someone might have had a good experience with another agency?

I would just be wary of booking something from a first time poster who is obviously getting a bit of free advertising.

We booked with Esprit and did the 3 night trip. It is expensive but we all loved it - it was a fantastic experience in a totally unique environment. All the gear provided is great and the reps are excellent. We stayed in Saariskelka - a really quiet resort where the only people you see tend to be tourists dressed like you in the snowsuit. It was lovely to be in such a silent place, toboganning in the dark. I personally enjoyed our free day in Lapland rather than the Santa day but nothing compares to meeting the real Santa. The excursions are hideously expensive but I will remember riding on a husky drawn sledge in the dark, cuddling my daughter and seeing a shooting star for a very long time. The holiday has such a great capacity for fun that it can't be beaten.
