Gerona or Majorca

Thinking of going to either of these the first week in October. What will the weather be like? Is it a good time of year to go?

Anyone been to Tossa de Mar, Santa Susanna, Platja d'Aro, Calella?

Or Alcudia in Majorca.

Also anyone know how long the transfers are from the airport to these places?

i looked at the title of this thread and thought 'dear goodness, neither of them' but then that's because i thought it was in the baby name section

Platja Park Hotel in Platja d'Aro
Caleta Palace Hotel in Platja d'Aro
Tossa Centre in Tossa de Mar
Royal Sun in Santa Susanna

I've stayed in the Royal Sun, Santa Susanna...nice hotel, but think the area will be pretty much closed at the time you are going (went late Sep and very little open). I think Majorca may be a bit livelier
