Is Greece today 'unsafe'?

Hi, we're trying to book our first holiday in years:D.. and with two little ones have to ask your opinion; should we avoid Greece this autumn (Halkiditi) because of the possible unplanned air traffic controllers' strikes etc.? Very good deal in a nice family hotel, but is it too risky? Thank you for your advice!

Bumping as we're also thinking of going to Greece this month but not too sure if its OK to travel due to the political situation etc
