Whose kids start back on Thursday? (In England)

Am thinking about going to Legoland on Thursday and hoping that it might be quiet. My dd's school starts back on Thursday but she is reception with a staggered start and starts herself on the 8th. Will Legoland be empty?

Sorry it is next Monday for us and quite a few Surrey primary schools seem to be same, with inset days this week.

we go back tomorrow (east midlands) although ds is delayed till thursday due to unfinished building work in the classroom. start dates seem to be a mixed bag this year, some this week, but many not till monday.

Mine go back Thursday (North London) but some schools in our borough go back next Monday. The LEA decided that 1st would be the official first day of term and it is down to each school to decide how many INSET days they allocate at the beginning of the term. It means that we haven't had a full six weeks' holiday though .

Not bad - I guess it will be a little quieter - Thanks for info - My niece who goes to school in a neighbouring borough is Monday too.

Out of the closest authorities to Legoland, Slough and Windsor & Maidenhead are back by Thursday, but Bracknell, Wokingham & Reading don't go back till Monday or Tuesday, depending on inset days.
