Hi there

we've made a snap decision to visit london tomorrow (bank holiday monday)

anyone with any suggestions tyhat might surprise and delight us.

as it stands, the nippers (8, 6 and 2) want to go to see buckingham palace, the science museum and then re-visit the south bank (where we went to last year as well as the natural history museum, HoP and Trafalgar Sq).

Sounds fine, but just wondered if we're missing anything else worthwhile or perhaps a bit more groovy.

let me know if you have any thoughts

thanks as always

The London Carnival is on tomorrow if you fancy venturing over to Notting Hill. Ladbroke Grove is the nearest station. Not far from Ladbroke Grove/Notting Hill Gate is Holland Park. There's a playgroud there that has something for every age and a separate play are for under 2s. Lovely to wander around the park too and see the peacocks and spot the rabbits.

If you plan to stay around the South Bank then obviously there's the London Eye. Queues should be shorter if the weather is wet. Or, if the weather's really wet you could visit the London Aquarium in County Hall.
