Help me with next years hols

I would like to go back the the south of France. We will go on the train to avigon. Can anyone recommend a resort that is a short drive away. Last time we stayed in Nice and it was a long drive.

We would also consider a boat to Santandar and staying in Spain. Can also also recommend a nice beach resort near there.

The beach resorts around Montpellier are lovely - Le Grau de Roi, Agde, Palavas les Flottes etc. A bit further away, towns like Cavaliere and and Le Lavandou - nice restaraunts and sandy beaches all the way....
