Days out in the New Forest?

We are staying at YHA Burley in the New Forest next week and would be grateful for any suggestions of things to do. Two families with children aged 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 and not a lot of money.

I'm in the New Forest at the moment - it's beautiful. I've used this website for ideas.

Thanks for that, do I have to register with that site to use it?

Anyone else with suggestions?
