Italy on Sundays

Off to Italy, arriving on a Sunday. Will everywhere be shut (restaurants and supermarkets?) Just trying to work out whether I need to pack ingredients for an evening meal for the first day. We're staying on a campsite with chalets, so I'm hoping it's geared up to Sunday arrivals.

My experience of Italy in March is that it is almost completley shut on Sundays, but that was when we were looking for a restaurant for lunch on s Sunday, before an afternoon flight. We were in a ski resort, Selva Val Gardena.

The supermarkets, shops will be shut, but if you are some place near a town, there will be restaurants open.

Thanks. Sounds like we'll need to bring a few things over for the first day then. Glad I asked.
