Do they still give out those bags at the airport?

Specifically, the clear plastic ones for liquids through security I am talking about? And the airport in question... Stansted.

So long since I have flown (and they did then) but thought they might have given it up by now.

Many thanks.

Yes - still give them out - just before you queue up to go through security

But you can use a little sandwaich bag as well.

Thanks.
On checking the kitchen drawer, I only have blue bags, so wasn't sure they would be any good!! Will use blue for now and decant into their one if need be!! Saves me a dash to the late night shop...

Cheers.

BAA airports still give them out for free but others, like Luton (and Stansted??) make you pay. Last time I went through Luton they cost £1.

Needless to say, as a Scot, I have always made sure I have my own! Wink

Our nearest airport sells 4 for £1 near the x ray machines.

DW just uses those freezer bags with a grip lock top to put her makeup in. They seem happy with that.

Really? you have to pay for them. My god - crazy! I've obviously been lucky with the ones i go through. Although last time (even though a seasoned airporter) packed in a rush - and had whole bag taken apart for a bloody lipstick. grrr!
