Taking 2yo and 4yo to BC, Canada. Any suggestions on what to do?

Off in 4 weeks and trawling the internet for kid friendly things to do in British Columbia. Always the same suggestions online and everything is based around Vancouver. We'll be travelling to The Okanagan (Kelowna, Penticton areas) and Southern Vancouver Island too and wondered if anyone had any suggestions that might interest 2 boys aged 2 and 4.
Also any alternative suggestions that don't appear on the usual 'Top 10 must see sights' for Vancouver would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks in advance x

Oh - was going to answer with this suggestion - but was more for the plane ride than actually what to do....

but i'll carry on regardless! My friend bought one of these for her 4 year old - and she loved it....

www.etsy.com/listing/54629017/blue-dragonfly-i-spy-pillow?ref=sr_gallery_14&ga_search_query=eye+spy&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&order=&includes%5B0%5D=tags&includes%5B1%5D=title

this is just an example - there's LOADS on etsy - but kept her DD amused for hours!

Thanks CupcakesHay, ALL suggestions are very, very welcome! Can't say the prospect of a 10 hour flight fills me with delight!

We were there with 5, 3, & 6month boys 5 years ago and highlights were.

The Flying Beaver by the airport, cool place to eat and watch the float planes, land and take off.

Play area at Granville Island, both the outdoor one with the water and the soft play in the kids market.

Ferry ride to Galiano Island and walk up Mt Galiano to see the crashed plane in the tree!

Trip to the Sylvia Hotel - home of 'Mr GotToGo' and then to see the Totem poles in the park.

The science museum is very good and the maritime museum good for a shorter visit.

Have only been to Kelowna in winter, but think the lake has loads of activites in summer. Silver Star might be good for a ride in a chair lift as I think they run in summer.
