Can anyone recommend a suitable place to meet in Central London with 8 children ages 0 - 8?

Am meeting family in London and we have children ranging from newborn to age 8.

Am preparing for wet weather as we were planning a picnic in the park but the forecast is not good so would like somewhere that is dry and where the children can run around whilst my sisters and me can catch up!

Am I asking for too much?

Could you stomach Gambado (near Kings Road)?

Gambado looks do-able but it would end up costing too much especially with the 'one off registration fee'.

Would the science museum be busy in the school holidays though?

There may be special offers on at Gambado and the kids will love you forever if you took them! At least you will be able to chat with your sister rather than chase kids! I don't think there is a fee to register - you just need to fill out the form and bring it in.

All of the central museums are hellish during the holidays!
