Flying to Japan with a 7 week old

I would like to take my DS home to Japan (for a visit) aged 7 weeks. He won't yet have had his 8 week immunizations, and hence will probably need to have them on our return (ie about 10 days late). Is this too soon to fly and is it ok to be late with the immunizations?

I saw a 3 week old baby on a flight from the west coast to the UK about two weeks ago now. She was fine and the aircrew did provide a bassinet - but these two were in business class and upstairs so overall it was quieter.

I would have the immunisations done first and then fly at a later date (if you have not already made firm plans to fly).
