Flying at 32-33 weeks? 5.5 hour flight?

Hi

Can anyone advise me? I'm due end of Jan - and flying home to Uk to have baby. I was planning to fly at about 31 weeks, but due to various things that have already come up - I would prefer to fly at 32 weeks+5 days.

Has anyone done this? I've checked my airline, and as long as I have a doctor's note to say it's Ok I shoudl be Ok.

I'm going to have someone meet me at airport - so no hassle at that end.

My mum is panicking (not in a nasty way), and thinks I should fly at 28-29 weeks...

What do you all think? Confused

i have to say i wouldn't risk it, just because i wouldn't want to potentially give birth on a plane.
