Any one got any suggestions? Looking for somewhere to stay for a week next spring /summer. Seaside town, with shops and a nice pub serving meals that kind of thing. Even better any one got a holiday Home that they let out or know any decent priced places on the web I could take a look at. Thanks

Hi GVL. I was supposed to be staying at Swallow Barn, Mullacot farm a few weeks ago but had to cancel as my DS went down with tonsillitis the day before we were supposed to go (isn't that always the way ?!!!) It came highly recommended from some good friends...'tis near Woolacombe beach in north Devon and is child friendly. If you're interested in Dorset (Sandbanks) my Aunt (she hates it when I say that as she's only a few years older than me !" runs a B & B but also has a holiday cottage that is rented for one week periods at a time (it's very popular) Its located overlooking Corfe Castle, will dig out both websites in the next 5 minutes or so.....

My Aunts info can be seen on the corfe castle website....

I think her email address is [email protected], it's all linked through the cc website (picture really doesn't do it justics I must say !)

Just got back from Penzance, Cornwall after staying in a holiday bungalow actually. Really close to all the attractions and beaches. It was great. We found it through the West Cornwall Cottage Holidays people. They even left homemade scones, clotted cream, jam and milk and teabags there for when we arrived.
