National Express Coaches - Loos?

Hi

I'm thinking of getting coach from Airport to my mum's in Exeter - ride is 3.5 hours - and i'll be about 20 weeks pg at time.

Does anyone know if they have toilets on board - and are they "okay" toilets - if you see what I mean?

My husband thinks I'm mad and should get train, but I reckon it'll be a nightmare with luggage and lugging and changing trains...

Pretty sure they do - on the website it will tell you the facilities on each 'route'.

My MIL travels to us on national express lots and she is a hygene freak - and she says they are 'passable' (in normal terms this will mean that they are the best public loo's that you will come across!). However I guess as there is only one loo, they could be worse than that!

If you need to change trains, lug luggage etc it is probably worth just being able to sit in one place for 3.5 hours and sleep! Although is the train much quicker?

which airport?
if Heathrow it'd be quite painless to get the heatrow express into Paddington and the Exeter train out again

I think it's the luggage that's putting me off - i figure i can push a cart with my luggage on it and then the coach driver loads it all on - whereas train - wouldn't i have to rely on the kindness of strangers to lug my case on and off - plus juggle dragging it without cart?

Ha ha - after writing that - I think i've made up my mind :) especially if your MIL can cope with the loos!

Ta for advice. x
