Try phoning hotels, they can give you answers much quicker, and maybe able to give you a deal. We have had interconnecting rooms for little more than one room, when we've asked.

Not quite the interconnecting rooms, but we've stayed at premier inns several times when we have visited the UK. Large rooms with either a bed or a matress on the floor. The staff have always been really helpful too.

Thanks for the suggestions. Tbh I've lost enthusiasm and think we'll just go for a couple of really good days out instead.

Hi,

If you haven't lost heart entirely I would pick a couple of hotels on trip advisor and give them a phone. I've always found hotels to be extremely accommodating when you tell them you're travelling with your family.

You may find my website about family travel helpful:

All the best and hope you do get away for a lovely break.

Hi
Can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel within an hours drive of Hereford, could do with a weekend away and have a 2 and 6 year old, a pool would be good, any recommendations welcomed.

can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel with pool in Yorkshire please? Im struggling to find anywhere. We want somewhere quite nice as we are going for my father in laws 70th birthday

For Yorkshire try The Feversham Arms.

I've not been yet but I've heard great things about it. You can see alot of details about different rooms on website, so hopefully you can see if its got what you want. Its not cheap (hence why I haven't been yet!) but could be great for a big birthday!

Hope that helps.
