Hi there. With less than 2 weeks to go till our holiday at this campsite, we are all looking forward to getting away - especially with yesterdays Sunday Mirror threatening the onset of Autumn. Has anyone got anything specific they would recommend from previous trips, or any good advice - things to do or places to see. We're catering for our ds, aged 5, plus my mum, who likes the nicer things in life. So, should be an interesting holiday.
Many thanks and look forward to alll good advice.

Bayonne and Dax are nice for day trips. If your mum likes the nicer things she may like the shops and people watching in Hossegor (about 20-30 mins from Le Vieux Port) parking can be difficult at times (especially on Sunday - market day) so if you struggle keep an eye out for the Sports Casino signs, park there and take the nice 10min stroll in across the river bridge.

Vieux Boucau is just a 5min walk away and great for a meal out but not a huge amount in the way of shopping. If you like pizzas and salads try the Casa de Pizza (better than the site pizzas).

Your 5 year old will probably be happy making friends in the lovely forest campsite and at their lovely playground, in the pools and on the beach. We were there 2 weeks ago and the beach has lovely lagoons at low tide.

Enjoy!
