Would definitely recommend it, got cheap flights from Stansted to Cork then stayed at The Old Presbytery B&B TEL 353-21-477-2027 or www.oldpres.com in Kinsale. Restaurants and bars aplenty in Kinsale, we also went on a boat ride round the harbour and an evening ghost tour which started at The Tap Bar. We visited Cobh for their museum about the Titanic. We kissed the Blarney Stone at Blarney castle and we went Clonakilty and Inchydoney for the beach.

If the roads had been better we'd have done more exploring but there was only so much bouncing up and down I could take!!

If you can get a few days off from the kids it's well worth the trip. It's like England 20 years ago, we did find the restaurants more expensive though.
