I always stay here bit £££ but worth it. It is on Port Olympic.

There is a fabulous restaurant on Mont juic Xalet good for lunch and dinner.
Shoko good for nightlife and walkable from Hotel Arts.
Walk Las Ramblas (shopping and Gaudi) and visit Sagrada Familia.

Its a beautiful city, went when pregnant with ds, with him when he was 18 months old and am taking him back next month, as a start to a cruise now he's 3.

Its sunny and friendly and vibrant and chic and wonderful.

You must visit the fairy bar here Its next to the wax works near the marina, and is amazing - full of locals, very dark and enchanting!#

The bus tours are a great way of getting round the city, and there is an artists village here which is lovely for wandering round and soaking up the atmosphere.

Oh and the font magica which is a water fountain/light and music display on most nights which is fab.
