had a great day out with dcs here last week. if you book in advance and go on a friday its half price. plenty to fill a day, shows, boat ride, traditional games and crafts, 4d film. I was pleasantly surprised as not very good reviews in press.

We went a couple of years ago and had a great time. I was thinking of going again as I have 2for1 vouchers.

I didn't realise it was half price on a Friday anyway.

I thought this was rubbish! £21 for one adult and a five year old (chessington was £13). There were no explanations/history of Dickens or the characters - almost non-existent explanation/information boards, the boat ride broke down and we were stuck in the dark, the soft play was being used by a holiday group and it felt crowded as it was a wet day today. It isnt a big place. The Oliver Twist show wasn't bad if I were to be generous and the sets were quite evocative. Seriously thought about asking for my money back.

We went when it first opened and I was very disappointed.
