Does anyone know if they still have these available for free at Gatwick, or do I need to go and sort something out myself? Am flying tomorrow so don't have much time to get to the shops...

They do at Heathrow, so I'd imagine they do at Gatwick too.

SoupDragon · 12/08/2010 16:37

i was given one free at Gatwick recently.

moondog · 12/08/2010 16:38

They charge two quid for them in manchester which is staggering. They also rejected the one the woman next to me had bought from home as 'it wasn't resealable'.

thansk everyone - I was sure I'd heard from someone that they'd been charged, but coudln't rememeber where that was.

I flew from Gatwick two weeks ago and they had them there.

But you could use a zip-top freezer bag if you had one - saves scrabbling around at the airport.

Mine was given to me by a wandering member of staff. There are guidelines for the bag but no mention of whether they are free.

annoying I only have the cheap tie top freezer bags, but it's only for deodorant so I can probably manage for one day [apologies to anyone sitting near me on the train on Saturday Wink] if I have to.
