Hi there,
Have you been to Corralejo before? We very often stay at the lobos bahia. Very very basic, but we know what we're paying for! I managed to get a week for 200 squids in feb half term, hired a car from the airport and bought flights separately. had a wonderful holiday.

Can't remember the oasis papagayo - try on trip advisor. The beach at corralejo is family friendly and the town is 'developing'.
We like to travel out to the sand dunes with a picnic and stay the day - also it's great to go over to the west of the island to El Cotillo, where there are stunning, family friendly lagoons. My fave place in the world. Once again, take food and drinks over there! The main beach at cotillo is a surfer's paradise and very 'wild' - nice cafe on the cliffs.

Corralejo has plenty of beach cafes and supermarkets so a good family place to stay - don't expect super shiny resort location like many of the Lanzarote resorts though.

We stayed there a few years ago. My boys hated the fact that all but one small pool were salt water. I guess we were not alone as all the salty pools were empty and that one small poool was crowded.
It's very geared up for young children but not so much for older ones. Miles from town and beach. We spent a fortune on taxis.
