Ryanair Checked baggage

Hi,

We are flying with Ryanair tomorrow and my parents have paid £60.00 for one large suitcase to share. My mum has just read in the small print that you cannot share luggage and pooling of luggage is not permitted. Is this true? They have bought one big suitcase so they can share it. Will they really open the case and check the luggage?

Thanks

PS - this is our first time flying with Ryanair and what a performance!!!

You are allowed 15kg per checked bag. When they say 'no pooling of luggage is allowed' they mean that you cnan't pay for 2 bags = 2x 15kg and have one 20kg bag and one 10kg bag. If you pay for 2 bags you can only have 2 x 15kg.

If they have paid for one bag they can put what they like in it up to 15kg. Obviously Ryanair cannot complain if it is your dad's bag an dyour mum has put her knickers in there Grin
