Car seat allowance for Virgin Longhaul?

We're flying to Orlando in December, with our 3 boys, 4,3 and 1. I know we're allowed to take 1 car seat for our youngest, but has anyone taken more than one car seat? and did you have to pay extra. I know all the allowances that are listed on the virgin website, but wanted to find out more.

can't help but watching with interest as we are flying to Orlando in October with Virgin and I want to take either two car seats or car seat and booster.

they say we can only take one car seat OR a pushchair for our little one, which is daft, but the US car seats in my opinion aren't as good as ours. so i really want at least one of mine there with me. PLUS a buggy. I think we can take more if we pay. trying to find out. whe i call them they have so far just told me the same as the website.

How old are your little ones?

I'm sure it was a car seat AND buggy.
My youngest will be 3 and 20 months when we go.
We found last time it cost an absolute fortune to hire a car seat and was actually cheaper to buy one there!

think we';re going to pack one of those booster seats without a back for our 4 year old, and maybe pay for an extra car seat of ours to be taken on top of the one allowed. I thought it was AND as well, but i asked when we booked and again a second time and he said it was one or the other! as if they'll notice when we check on in as luggage and take the other to the gate. fingers crossed.
For us it would add almost $600 to our holiday to hire car seats for all 3 boys, ridiculous.

think we will also take a booster seat for our (just) 4 year old. Apparently there is a car seat in the villa that a previous guest left so if its any good we will use that when we get there and take just DC4's car seat and hopefully a buggy. We've bought a quinny so hopefully we will be able to take that on board. We've managed previously with BA and BMI.
