Puerto Pollenca - do we need insect repellent?

Off to Flora Apartments next Tues (as recommended on here) and wondered whether I need to take insect repellent at all?

Yes I would. We went a couple of years ago and I got lots of bites. Insects seem drawn to me though because no one else seemed to suffer.
