Beer Gardens with play areas - Lake District

DS1 can't sit still for 2 mins so eating out is a nightmare. We're off to the Lakes and I don't want to cook everyday as thats no holiday for me, so wondered if anyone could recommend any great family friendly pubs? We can eat and DS can play...

When we last did this we borrowed a CAMRA child friendly pubs guide from someone.

Sorry I can't remember any now but I expect you can check online using the local Tourist Infomation Centres for the area you want to visit.

Envious - love the Lakes but haven't been there for a few years.

Depends where you are in the Lakes!.

Boot Inn, in Eskdale is good - has play area but is not the most accessible of Lake District valley.

Thanks for the advice. We're going to be based around Bowness/Windermere but will be driving all over the place.....
