Hello
We're off to Dorset, near Poole, later this week. Does anyone have any ideas for good family days out? DD and DS, aged 7 and nearly 5.

Thanks you!

We went to Dorset last Summer (and are going again at end of August!!). Monkey World is brilliant, and definitely takes up a whole day.Depending on what your kids like, Corfe Castle is suprisingly good, my boys (5 and 3) spent the whole time running around it pretending to be knights. There's also a little model village of Corfe to walk around after you've been to the castle. There's a kids farm called Farmer Palmer's farm just on the outskirts of Poole which has tons of stuff for the kids, not just farm animals but rides and adventure play areas etc. There's a dinosaur museum at Dorchester which was good if your kids like dinosaurs! The best days out we spent there though were at Studland beach. In my opinon Studland is by far the best beach to go to in Dorset, really lovely! BUt you can also go fossil-hunting along the jurassic coast. Have fun.

Burton Bradstock beach is lovely, as is the restaurant/cafe on it.

Oh thank you so much, great recommendations. Glad we're going for two weeks, looks like there's tons to see/do.
Just keeping fingers crossed for good weather
