Whats the weather like in Glasgow - flight delayed from Luton?

Is it really windy up there? dh and ds waiting at Luton to fly to Glasgow and have been delayed - so have the Edinburgh flights.
Gosh I'm shitting myself for them if it's going to a bumpy first flight for ds.
