decided to take usual powdered formula for ds to spain, as the amount of ready made cartons would weigh a tonne! are we best boiling tap water or using bottled water?

We used bottle water and still boiled it! DD was 5 months old, first baby, maybe a bit of a nuerotic (sp?) mummy!

The guidelines we were given when we went abroad are to use bottled - look for water with less than 20mg/litre of sodium and you will be fine.

BOTTLED WATER EVEN NEEDS TO BE BOILED FOR BABIES.

I wouldn't boil Majorca's bottled water more than I would need to boil bottled Scotish water or Evian, just check that the seal is not broken and that's enough. Now, if you preffer to boil it, don't waste money in bottled water just boil tap water and thta will be fine.

Besides, do you know how long does it takes for the water to cool down in the hot Majorcan weather? ages... so if you decide to boil it, alocate lots of time for it to cool down.
