Hi all,
After looking for so long on the internet we have booked Playa Blanca for next week. Not really our first choice as we have been there several times before...but hey, not a bad position to be in.
My little boy is a bit disappointed as he was really looking forward to going to Lykia World in Turkey - lots of waterslides, fab things for kids. He didn't say anything but his face said it all. I know he is lucky to be going away at all but I just kind of felt a bit bad as he was so excited after he heard me trying to book that hotel and other fantastic hotels for children (they were either booked or so so expensive). I showed him the little playground at the hotel we are going to (Natura Palace)and he went really quiet. That might sound really spoilt, but he isn't and did tell me that it looked lovely.
So - could anyone help me and tell me how I can make this just as fun for my little boy and daughter - aged 3. We don't really want to hire a car so that rules out the water park in Playa del Carmen.
Does anyone know of other hotels in Playa Blanca we might be able to slip into to use great childrens' playgrounds or have a quick paddle (yes, cheeky I know). Or are there any other tips or hidden gems anyone knows of for little ones?
