milk to the airport

I am traveling on tue by plane and i have been advised to give my son a bottle to help prevent his ears from popping, we have to be at the airport at 1 and fly out at 4,if i take cows milk with me in a bottle will it go off by the time we are on plane? help???

Water will do the job just as well. The action needed to stop ears from 'popping' is swallowing, so anything to drink or sucking on sweets all work well.
