Can someone recommend a beach in Kent please?

We're off to stay with family in Kent in a couple of weeks and we'd like to visit a sandy beach but one that also has a few rockpools if that's not too much to ask

We'd like to avoid very touristy areas, DD is only 21 mo so doesn't need to go to a funfair or anything like that. We'll be based centrally so can travel to any part of Kent.

If anyone has any other suggestions of things to do in Kent they would be very welcome!

TIA

Joss Bay is lovely
Here
Toilets, little shop selling beachy stuff and teas/coffees.
Good carparking
We really like it.

Botany Bay is also good.

broadstairs has a sandy beach and rock pools. it does get busy bit it's not full of arcades and rides - it's quite old fashioned, in a nice way!

depending on where you are hever and leeds castles are both nice for a day out

canterbury is also nice for a walk around the shops and to see the cathedral

Crossed posts with everyone else Thanks for the suggestions, Canterbury does look nice and both of the castles. Plenty to keep us occupied
