Relaxing and diving in May - where??

I think DH and I need a wee break sans bebe next year (DS will be 18mo) so I need ideas for somewhere that will be nice and chilled, where we can do grown-up pampering things and some scuba diving.

I thought Egypt but not sure if it will be too hot in May? Would prefer not TOO long a flight but it's not the be all and end all.

We'll fly from Glasgow having left DS with the GPs.

All suggestions welcome!

Malta is good for diving...not too hot in May.
